The Aerospace Industry Observatory is an initiative developed within the framework of the Civil UAVs Initiative, promoted by the Xunta de Galicia through the First Vice-presidency and the Regional Ministry of Economy, Employment and Innovation, and carried out by the Galician Aeronautical Consortium (CAG).

As a result of the agreement signed between the Galician Innovation Agency and the CAG, this observatory was set up for the generation, attraction, compilation and dissemination of expert knowledge and scientific studies in aerospace matters. The observatory aims to be a centre of reference at national and international level in the performance and dissemination of scientific, economic, statistical, and perspective studies of the aerospace sector.
