Galician Aeronautical Consortium, CAG

The Galician Aeronautical Consortium was created on October 10, 2007 formed by 53 companies belonging to the Galician metallurgical sector, in order to promote and develop the aeronautical sector in Galicia and achieve a higher level of innovation, research and competitiveness, throughout the sector .

The CAG is composed of more than 30 organizations, all linked to the aeronautical sector, grouping companies, universities and technological centers of the autonomous community of Galicia.

The CAG, among other organizations in which it participates, is the founding patron of the CINAE (Galicia Aerospace Innovation Center Foundation) and in such important activities as the UAV’S Initiative project of As Rozas (Lugo) or the creation of the university degree in Aerospace Engineering.

GOALS OF CAG

Continuous development of the Strategic Plan and White Paper of the aeronautical industry in Galicia.

Performing technological and capacity diagnostics for CAG companies.

Visits to plants and factories as well as sector fairs of interest at national and international level.

Promotion of activities for the integration of companies in the aeronautical sector.

Promotion and expansion of sectorial certifications.

Coordination and promotion of certification programs in relation with aeronautical sector.

Specific training programs.

GREETINGS FROM THE PRESIDENT

El Consorcio Aeronáutico Gallego está desarrollando un plan de promoción, crecimiento y consolidación de la industria aeronáutica y aeroespacial en Galicia desde el año 2007.

Estamos contribuyendo a fortalecer esta actividad industrial que está atrayendo y que puede atraer todavía más beneficios para nuestra comunidad autónoma.

Agrupamos a Empresas y también a universidades, centros tecnológicos y a otros agentes implicados con el sector aeronáutico y aeroespacial gallego.

Somos la entidad representativa de esta actividad y desarrollamos actuaciones en el campo de la relaciones internacionales,  formación, innovación, promoción comercial, etc…

Hemos conseguido poner a Galicia en el mapa nacional e internacional de la industria aeronáutica y aeroespacial y seguiremos desarrollando nuestros planes para Galicia, provocando con ello un mayor crecimiento económico, industrial y del conocimiento en nuestra comunidad.
